AZ Archaeology Society meeting set for Feb. 18

The Little Colorado River Chapter of the AZ Archaeology Society will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting Monday, Feb. 18 (President’s Day). Feature speaker will be T. J. McMichael, noted naturalist and Aldo Leopold interpreter.

McMichael will present the natural history and archaeology of the Grand Canyon in preparation for the group trip to the canyon. The talk will begin at 7 p.m. in the Udall-Johnson room of the Springerville Heritage Center, 418 E. Main in Springerville. The talk will be preceeded by a business meeting at 6:30 and dinner with the speaker at 5 p.m. at the Trail Riders restaurant in Eagar.
