I don’t live in Show Low, still, my taxes keep going up

Posted: Monday, October 8, 2012 5:00 am | Updated: 7:31 am, Mon Oct 8, 2012.

To the Editor: Like everyone else I just got my property tax bill, joy! Again, it has gone up, more joy! When does it end? We all know the government can’t and won’t do with less but we sure can.

Have a friend who had this same exact thing happen. She called the County Assessor to find out what was going on and was told that everyone who owns a second home up here has lost the tax credit they once were able to have applied. Hope that explains it for you.[sad]

John I know it ,I have 48 acres and a local rancher runs some cows on it and I live there in a 25 year old doublewide my taxes are two thousand two hundred thirty eight dollars and change.Tried to get it rezoned to ranch land but was blown off at the assesors office as was my rancher friend.I have noticed that there seems to be more people in Navajo county with luxury homes and a few acres who are now rezoned as ranches guess it takes the big bucks to get the tax breaks.

    John and Rick,

Wow. As a few people know I own a couple of real estate rental properties for my old age income. The rent on one in Northern California just went up to where just that little 3 bedrroom house costs me $3,900.00 per year in property taxes.

    And you're complaining?

I want to get back to property ownership exclusively in Ariozna as soon as possible.

    Wes.

Rick, you must be talking about the landscaped estates with the manicured lawns. Maybe you need a Ranch style home to get the zoning?

If you guys think that's bad, just try moving to Texas. There is no state income tax there so the property taxes are very, very high.

Yeah, but Ron, if you get hit with a high property tax in Texas. all yuh gotta do is go to the assersor's office and go fer your guns. Or else just take him out and string him up.

As I have said time and time again. Property taxes are a crime perpetrated on property owners, because those in government know it's about as sure of money as you can get. When you bought your home and property you payed taxes at that time. We should never, ever have to rent our home and property back from the government yearly, under threat of seizure.

Mind you, i'm not saying that some of the things funded by property tax are not a good thing. Just believe they should be funded differently than making a man lease his property (he already payed tax on when he purchased it) for the rest of his life. People should think twice before attaching this district or that district, or a fire district or a health district or a library district or a school district to a mans rightfully owned property.

What lies at the heart of this whole issue is the hidden reality that you actually own nothing . The whole concept of Real Estate as we know it, is rooted in ancient Babylonian Law under the belief in the Divine Right of Kings . The term Real Estate is in reality " Royal " Estate ( Real = Royal in Spanish and French , King in Spanish = Rey , French = Roy , Italian = Re and so on , derived from Egyptian Solar Diety Ra-Amen , hence a Ray , Rey , Ra of Sunlight ) . Therefore , when some poor soul mortgages his life away for a piece of property they falsely believe they " own " , what they actually have is a small parcel of the Royal / Real Estate . Again , under the belief in this so-called Divine Right of Kings , you are concidered a slave and slaves can not actually own any property . This contractual Agreement of Habitation also called a Property Deed allows the individual to stay on " their " land and in " their " home so long as they pay the tribute due to the king ( government ) in return for this cleverly masked system of tenency . This is where the office of the Shariff developed in the ancient Sumerian-Bablyonian world as a strong arm agency to extort the taxes from the pesantry for the privlidge of being endentured serfs on the Royal Estate . This is why all Counties have a Sheriff's / Shariff Department , they are the tax collecting arm of the king should you fail to pay your taxes , think of the Sheriff of Nottingham in the Robin Hood saga . If you still question this dynamic then take a look at the Deed to the piece of property you falsely think that you own , you are always listed as the " Tenent " even if no lien from a lending institution exists , and this Deed ( contractual agreement of habitation ) is kept on file at the County close to the Office of the Shariff should you fail to pay your pound of flesh to the king ( i.e. your taxes ). So much for the illusion of property ownership , it is a system of indebtedness with an inherent " Bundle of Rights " that allows for the transfer of this piece of property from one serf to another serf with the provision that the property is utilized in an accepted manner ( zoning laws , highest and best use ) and that the tribute ( taxes ) are always paid to the King . If not , then the King will seize the property and the Shariff can and will use deadly force to keep you off of this property . Hope this helps to clear up some of the misunderstandings most of you expressed .

By the way , this same Divine Right of Kings mentality if much more pervasive than just the skewed tax structure ( both property and income taxes ) , is also permeates every other aspect of your life as well . For example , when you Register something , be it a motor vehicle , a firearm , a Birth Certificate , a child in public school , or any other Registered item , you again play into this Babylonian Law of submission and surrender . Register comes from the term of Royalty , Regency , Regicide , Reginald , Regina , all common terms that signify Royalty . Therefore , when you Regi - ster something you are agreeing to forfeit ownership of that particular item at some future date should the King decide that he wishes to possess it . This is why such things as the draft / military impressment and the taking of property and children by the King are accepted by and large among the pesants to this very day . Does not seem that we have really made all that much progress after all this time . The dynamic of the 1 % exploiting the 99 % has always governed world affairs , and as usual , the Police and Military have always been there to carry out the agendas and protect the interests of the 1 % .

How quickly it's forgotten. Sh*t flows downhill ! About 2 years ago the arizona legislature cut state funding to all the counties, hence the countys had a choice: cut services or raise taxes to keep the same level of services to the people. If I remember right, Supervisor Tenny expressed the same concerns in WMI that year. It is austerity through tax shifting.
