ASU Steak Fry this weekend

Posted: Friday, June 20, 2014 5:00 am

Former Arizona State football players Randall McDaniel (left) and Curley Culp share a laugh during the annual ASU Steak Fry and Golf event at Pinetop Country Club last year. Culp, a Yuma native, played professional football for three NFL teams from 1968 to 1981: the Kansas City Chiefs, where he was a Super Bowl champion, the Houston Oilers and the Detroit Lions. McDaniel, who attended Avondale Agua Fria High School, played for Minnesota and Tampa Bay between 1988 and 2001. McDaniel was inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009 and Culp was inducted last summer. Both are expected back at this year's Steak Fry, which begins with a social tonight and continues Saturday at Pinetop CC.
