Walmart presents $1,000 to Taylor-Snowflake Fire and Medical

Recognizing and helping to fulfill needs in the Snowflake and Taylor communities, Taylor Walmart presented a $1,000 check to Taylor-Snowflake Fire and Medical on Nov. 18. According to the fire department’s PIO Keith Plympton, these dollars will go towards new equipment. Last year Walmart’s gift, combined with a gift from Summit Healthcare, helped provide four ambulances with a Pediatric Code Bag which helps the EMS crews more efficiently manage a high risk, low frequency pediatric emergency. Plympton said Walmart, a good neighbor, also helps with fire department events such as bike safety, their annual open-house and even bringing lunch periodically to the crews.
