Cadets learn about SAR dog training

Cadets from Show Low Flight were provided a working demonstration of a SAR dog trained to support various agencies such as ATF and FEMA. The dog was trained by Extreme K9 International, Michelle Denton and Chris Van Der Molen. The demonstration was cleared by airport management and TSA. The dog found two mock incinderary devices. The Civil Air Patrol is the United States Air Force Auxiliary, established Dec 1, 1941. Tasked by Congress and the Air Force to provide Emergency Services, Aerospace Education and Cadet Programs for youth age 12 to 18.
