In 1962 they moved to Show Low from Phoenix, where they loved the small, friendly town where they had camped, fished and vacationed over the years. After Mary and Lou divorced, Mary went to work to support herself and the five children. She worked as a waitress for the Bunger family at the ‘White Mountain Café and a few other cafes in Show Low. She babysat a number of children in her home as well as taking care of her elderly parents after moving them from Phoenix to live close by in Show Low.
In 1963 she married Harry Linch and raised three more children: Kris, Kelly and Kori (deceased). Mary continues to live in the same house in Show Low, where she has extraordinary neighbors, super special friends who spend time with her weekly at Bingo at the VFW, Hon-Dah for breakfast and fun, movie days and out to eat. All who wish to share stories and reminisce are invited for a light lunch. No gifts please, just your company.
