Annual beer, music fest draws largest crowd ever

Having an event that is overwhelmingly successful is a cause for creative solutions. The Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce attracted about 800 people to its ninth annual White Mountain Beer & Music Festival Saturday, June 22 at p.l.a.c.& s. on Buck Springs Road underneath the cool pines. Running out of food not once, but twice, they punted quickly to solve that problem. Beer and tasting began at 2 p.m. and Michael Goodrick, Caiden Brewer Band, No Way Out and Ryan David Orr soothed the crowd with music. The event was nearly three times larger than previous years.
