White Mountains Indivisible is hosting a public forum and discussion from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at the new Pinetop-Lakeside Town Hall, on House Resolution – 1, a piece of legislation which will be introduced in the US House of Representatives Jan. 3.

HR-1, if passed, will eliminate some of the wide-spread corruption that has taken over our political system. A brief description of the particulars of the bill by a member of White Mountains Indivisible will be followed by a recap by Navajo County election officials of the County’s efforts to protect voting rights, keep ballots secure, and count ballots accurately. The audience will then participate in a general discussion of HR-1 and ways local people can help support it and get it passed in the House. The public is invited to attend the forum to learn about and discuss this important bill.

The new Pinetop-Lakeside Town Hall is at 325 W. White Mountain Blvd. in Lakeside (formerly Dr. Sullivan's office, with has a marquee in front of it).
