The Future First Responders of America, a nationwide nonprofit youth organization for ages 13 to 18, is seeking new applicants. Learn and train to be a first responder of all types; firefighter, law enforcement, EMT, 911 dispatcher, search-and-rescue, U.S. Forestry, K-9, CSI or Community Emergency Response Team. All cadets are given the opportunity to be certified in several first responder-type subjects. Cadets are also eligible to earn rank, become leadership, compete, travel and attend exclusive events. To apply, a parent or guardian must attend the first meeting to complete the application package. This year-round program does not require any dues. For more information, visit ffroa.org.
