Rev 1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (We are the Church, or the Bride of Christ which is being made ready for our husband who is Christ. So we sit at the feet of Jesus learning His ways, being changed from Glory to Glory Being made ready for our husband who is Christ. So this bride, is being caught up with Him in the heavenlies. The ones that are looking to Him with all of their heart and soul and are in that high realm with Him. (the higher realm means we are no longer in the lower realm of the world, but being high and lifted up into the heavenly realm. Coming into the mind of Christ, coming out of our carnal mind which is death, into the mind of Christ.)In the book of Revelation we are that city the new Jerusalem coming down from that heavenly realm in God. We have allowed the Spirit to transform our mind, so we work out of the mind of Christ and not out of your carnal mind anymore. We have been made ready, to be about our Father’s business and be a part of His Ministry that will set the captives free.
3. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (The old testament tabernacle of Moses was a natural Temple. A type and shadow of the Temple He now dwells in. (God now dwells in us, we are the Temple of God. He now dwells in us and we are His people and He is our God.)
4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. What is this Jerusalem, it is not an earthly Jerusalem (What a promise! Here is the redemption of your body. No more suffering, no more pain, no sorrow, no more death. This is the New Creation man, in spirit, soul and body. The New Jerusalem! Some religious doctrines would say, this is when we die and come back on resurrection Day. After we die. That is not the good news for me. We are to overcome that last enemy! We overcome through our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the resurrection and I am resurrected in Him. Remember Lazarus, John 11:1 h Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha (Lazarus sisters, were upset with Jesus that He did not come early when he was sick. The story goes on and Jesus went to the tomb, everyone was crying, why Jesus didn’t come sooner, Lazarus would not have died, the sisters were crying. Jesus also was crying, but His crying wasn’t for his dead friend, it was for all the people that where there and did not believe He was the resurrection. Jesus told the sisters, “I am the resurrection.” You do not need to look for a resurrection, or someday bye and bye. He is calling me and you out from our graves right now. He is loosening my grave clothes now and yours. I am coming to life and that which is more abundant. He is making us the miracle so we can show the world the miracle of the Kingdom of God. A many membered body of Christ walking in this world to show the Kingdom of God. As Jesus we become His Way, His Truth and show His Life in God. We need to become all that He is. When you see me you see the Father, that is the vision. With out this vision we will perish as all men have in the past. This is a new thing that God has done. Rejoice, be happy for it. What freedom, we are a new creation in Christ Jesus. We are a city set on a hill, a high place in God.
Gal. 4:26. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. If you are the Bride of Christ then you must be birthing His children. We first bring forth that man child in us then we are matured to bring forth the birthing of His children into the Kingdom of God. Wow, what a blessing, what a commission.
This is the new Heaven and new Earth, it is you, Song of Solomon 5: 16. His mouth is most sweet, yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem! The daughters of Jerusalem. The Church is His true beloved, daughters of Jerusalem. His bride!
