Kids poster

One of the thank-you posters created by students at Concho Elementary for Concho Animal Advocates is shown.

Heather Hutchison, executive director of Concho Animal Advocates, recently visited Concho Elementary School for a discussion about how to care for pets, and most importantly how to love domestic pets.

Hutchison said there are many wonderful, cute and delightful animals waiting to be adopted at rescue organizations. Concho Animal Advocates is a nonprofit animal-welfare group specializing in financial help for spay and neuter surgeries, and dealing with the dangers that can be encountered in adopting pets from the side of the road.

The children rewarded Concho Animal Advocates with thank-you posters that will be treasured. Concho Animal Advocates has been in existence since 2018 and has provided financial aid for spay and neuter surgeries for over 400 animals.

CAA accepts donations and grants from the Arizona Pet Friendly Specialty License Plate Committee. Donations are received for Concho Animal Advocates at HC 30 Box 241, Concho, AZ 85924.
