Spence Udall - WM Special Healthcare District

The mayor of St. Johns, Spence Udall, spoke as a private citizen and parent at the Special Healthcare District’s public meeting in Springerville on October 3rd. He talked about his experiences, and how he has seen the importance of the Special Healthcare District and its support for the training and equipment for first responders. “When you’re holding your daughter, or your child, and they are turning blue, you don’t care if there’s a pothole in your road,” Mr. Udall said. “You don’t care if you have parks. You don’t care about all those little things. But the one thing you do care about is whether there are trained personnel and equipment that can come and meet the needs that you have, right then, that you can’t render to your family.”
