The Green Hills Patient Center raised over $3,000 for local veterans with Walking Down Ranch's Veteran's Village at the local dispensary's 'Smoketacular' fundraiser Oct. 26, for local veteran's housing, not including private donations. Helping to raise awareness, the patients of Green Hills Patient Center are hoping to make an impact in their communities around the white mountain for Veterans and their families. If you would like to help Green Hills Patient Center aid local veterans, please reach out to the good folks at Walking Down Ranch. Walking Down Ranch, Veterans Village is a unique community that offers veterans and their families an array of services including transitional housing, food, clothes, utilities, medical transportation, phones, medications, and holiday boxes. Since being recognized as a 501(c)(3) in 2014, they have assisted more than 900 veterans in Arizona’s White Mountains. If you would like to support Walking Down Ranch, they are currently accepting tax credit donations, cabin sponsors, and even volunteer muscle and time. They can be contacted through their website at walkingdownranch.org, or by calling 602-689-8056.
