ATV club awards local scholarship

Apache County ATV Club Vice President Mel Schweigert presents Faith Hill with a scholarship award July 25 during the club’s monthly meeting at Trailrider’s Restaurant. Organized in 2003, the Apache County ATV Club, was created to promote ATV riding throughout Apache County and surrounding areas as a safe and enjoyable family activity, awarded a scholarship to Faith Hill.

Hill graduated from Round Valley High School this past May and will be attending Northland Pioneer College this fall semester. With a career goal of becoming a pediatrician, she will focus on a nursing degree from NPC the next two years before choosing a medical school that will advance her interest in pediatrics.
