SPRINGERVILLE —Taylor Moore, 22, of Glendale, thought he was conversing with a 15-year-old girl on social media and began an online relationship with what was really was an undercover detective from the Apache County Special Crimes Enforcement Team. The ACSO detective continued the relationship that began in October that turned into sexual advances from Moore.
Throughout the conversations in following months, Moore began to make more unprovoked sexual requests and began sending lewd and sexually explicit pictures to the detective.
On December 19, Moore again contacted the detective and again, the conversation turned sexual, resulting in Moore traveling to a Springerville motel to meet what he thought was a 15-year-old girl for sex.
Moore was then placed under arrest for 10 counts of aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation, five counts of luring a minor for sexual exploitation and an outstanding misdemeanor for a failure to appear arrest warrant. Moore was booked into the Apache County Jail in Saint Johns.
The above information was released by a local law enforcement agency. The individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. After reviewing the cases the county attorney’s office often drops or modifies charges.
