WHITERIVER — The White Mountain Apache Tribe Environmental Protection Office will be conducting asbestos abatement, hazardous waste removal and demolition of the old Maintenance Building.

The exact location of the facility is 106 E. Spruce St., the northeast corner of North 1st and East Spruce streets.

The asbestos abatement, hazardous waste removal, as well as demolition of the facility will  be conducted immediately. The tribal has announced that any trespassing before or during the abatement, hazardous waste removal and demolition of the facility is prohibited for safety reasons.

Should any non-related activities occur on-site, officials ask that the office be contacted immediately. The operation schedule of the abatement, hazardous waste removal and demolishment will be during daylight hours only.
