Grand re-opening of Woodland Lake Park

Coming together on May 26 for a Grand Re-opening and ribbon cutting of Woodland Lake Park, the crown jewel of Pinetop-Lakeside, the town, the Save Our Park board and workers, and various community leaders and dignitaries were finally able to recognize the generous donation by Peter and Nancy Salter of the Salter Family Foundation — in person — for the purchase of 107.88 acres of Woodland Lake Park. The story will be featured in your Tuesday Independent.
