Progress during a pandemic

Beginning early May the new AutoZone store in Pinetop was underway with a guestimated completion of three months. With July almost over, it looks like that was a good guess. Having received approval from PTLS to begin installing shelving and sales counters last week, Community Development Director Cody Blake says they are just waiting on two things before bringing merchandise into the store — the installation and testing of the fire alarm system and ADOT’s approval on the entrance to the store from White Mountain Boulevard. The new store is located on the corner of White Mountain Boulevard and Malapai Drive by next to The Re-Center.
