SL Elks donate 400 dictionaries to area schools

The Show Low Elks Lodge dictionary committee chairperson, Sharon Amos, presented 24 dictionaries Wednesday, Sept. 4, to Corinne Anderson’s third grade class at Nikolaus Homestead Elementary School. “Many students shared their enthusiasm about receiving and using the dictionaries,” says Amos. “We also left dictionaries to be distributed to the other third grade classes at the school.” (A total of 400 dictionaries are being distributed to third graders in Show Low, Lakeside, Concho and Vernon schools.)
