This year’s festival drew in a great crowd of festival goers in anticipation of area sweet corn. Attendees could buy fresh picked corn still in the husk or cooked on the grill with plenty of salt, pepper and butter.

In addition to sweet corn, festival goers were treated to 50+ arts and crafts vendors, food vendors and live entertainment. Kids had fun at the Horseless Rodeo, engines were revved up during the Lawn Mower Races and teams were able to sign up for the Cornhole Tournament.

Winners of the Sweet Corn Festival parade were Smithfield Farms, 1st Place, Committee to Elect Dave Marshall, 2nd place, and Hatch Family Farms in 3rd Place. Catherine and Ray Cox were the Grand Marshals of the parade. Peyton Hatch and Ryker Hunt were the Sweet Corn Royalty.

The festivities ended with a fireworks display.
