Uplifting experience

Taking a hot air balloon pre-test flight for the upcoming second annual White Mountains Hot Air Balloon Festival (June 28 — 30) Pinetop-Lakeside Mayor Stephanie Irwin and Summit Healthcare CEO Ron McArthur and his wife, Jenice, enjoyed the experience. With blue skies and light winds, the trio took off very early in the morning Friday, May 31. Community Services Manager Tony Alba said the event this year has been expanded to three days and all activities will be free to the public, including tethered balloon rides.
