Learning about plants, edibles and forest ecology begins right outside the door of the White Mountain Nature Center in Lakeside. Early Saturday morning,June 5, local expert and White Mountain Nature Center Board Member Ron Miller conducted a tour for people to learn about plants, edibles and forest ecology. Trails connect the Nature Center to the neighboring Big Springs Environmental Study Area with its phenomenal spring-fed pond and wetlands.
