Woman's Club marks 55 years of service

Celebrating the 55 years, the White Mountain Woman’s Club (WMWC) has been enhancing the community through fulfilling needs of other nonprofits and individuals with scholarships and other donations. The club held its July 11 meeting at Pinetop Country Club. Current President Joan Lora turned over the podium to former President Diana Born (2007 and 2010-12) who gave an outline of the history of the service club. The club also presented certificates of appreciation to members for their membership longevity. WMWC is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and has been the proud recipient of many awards for their dedicated service work. Club member and upcoming event information can be found at www.gfwcwhitemountainwomansclub.wordpress.com.
