The White Mountains Autism Foundation’s (WMAF) Troy Gillespie Memorial Fishing Jamboree on June 9 was hosted by Lazy Oaks Resort in Lakeside — with lots of help from others.

The House from Show Low catered the free lunch; Big 5 Sporting Goods supplied the fishing poles; and WMAF supplied the birthday cake celebrating all participants’ birthdays from January to June.

Special needs agencies Aries LLC, the Meadows Catalina LLC, TLC, and Lexington Learning Academy participated in the event.

“This is such an exciting event; our special needs community is able to come together and share the joy of fishing in this beautiful surrounding at Lazy Oaks Resort. Thank you everyone for joining us.” said WMAF President Sandy Stewart.
