Navajo County News

The Navajo County Board of Supervisors last week approved a $625,000 contract with the state to support a pre-trial diversion program for drug offenders in hopes of reducing the mounting number of lethal overdoses.

The Navajo County Attorney’s Office will partner with Complete Care Partners, which will provide treatment, support and diversion services for people arrested for drug use and possession. People who complete the diversion programs can have the charges dropped and avoid jail or prison time.
