SHOW LOW – A minor incident involving a man allegedly urinating between two occupied manufactured homes (his own and his neighbor’s) escalated into threats involving firearms.
On April 28 at 1:25 p.m., Show Low Police responded to a home in the 3000 block of West Young where an officer arrested Timothy McIntire, 42, of Show Low, charged with disorderly conduct. Police said McIntire urinated between he and his neighbor’s homes at which time the neighbor reportedly asked him to stop because he has relatives whose young children visit him. McIntire reportedly told the man he would not, so the neighbor called police.
When police questioned McIntire he allegedly claimed to be a Sovereign Citizen and could urinate on his own property. That resulted in McIntire being arrested for disorderly conduct. At 7:25 p.m. police responded back to the same location where officers arrested McIntire’s roommate, Matthew Mace, 49, of Show Low, charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct involving weapons.
Police said Mace confronted the neighbor about McIntire being in jail, telling him he must get him out. Police said the neighbor called the jail asking if he could do anything to get McIntire out of custody and reportedly could not. Police said that is allegedly when Mace brandished a pistol with a laser sight on it and pointed it at the neighbor. A Show Low Police officer reportedly witnessed seeing the red dot from the laser sight on the neighbor when he arrived on-scene.
