Public meeting offers insight to healthcare district election

Jerry Campeau, chairman of the board of the White Mountain Communities Special Healthcare District, holds up a voter information packet with a sample ballot for the Special Healthcare District election regarding funding, which will be arriving by mail Oct. 9 to voters within the district. Voters will have a chance to look over this packet and understand what is being asked of them. “A vote of no means that there will be no support for emergency services,” Campeau said. “It’s just that simple.” Campeua addressed the public at a town hall meeting regarding the election held in Springerville last week.
