jean Schaul

Loving mother Jean “MamaJean” Schaul went to be with the Lord Friday, April 26, 2019. She was 92. She was born Jan. 23, 1927, in Spokane, Washington, and resided there until she married Larry Schaul April 26, 1945.

She was preceded in death of her daughter, Rae Ann Harvey in 2004.

Her surviving daughters include Terry L (Robert) Porter and their children: Greg and Liz Porter, Scott Porter, Jeff Porter and her great grandchildren Christian, Jiana and Kendall Porter;  youngest surviving daughter Marci “Blondie” Cratte and her husband Ken.

Retired in 1986 from dentistry and moved to Roosevelt Lakeview Park in Arizona. Jean became a member of Roosevelt Baptist Church in October 1986. From there she helped start a mission church in Punkin Center Baptist Church, where she served until 2010, when she move to Heber to be with her daughter Blondie and Ken. She then became an active member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Overgaard.

A memorial service will held at 11 a.m. May 18, at the First Southern Baptist Church of Overgaard, 2727 Church Lane. A pot luck luncheon to follow.
