Lou Susan

Belinda “Lou” Beach Susan, 52, of Cibecue, went to be with the Lord after a brief battle with illness. She was born Oct. 15, 1966 in Whiteriver, to parents Preston and Pauline Beach Sr.

Lou enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, she loved to travel, she just returned from a trip visiting five states. She was an avid reader, taught school at the John F. Kennedy School in Cedar Creek and loved her kids there. She loved arranging flowers, liked the color maroon and had a bright smile with a contagious laugh. Belinda had a beautiful voice, she used her voice in encouragement and worship.

She is survived by her son, Chad Altaha; and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrtis Susan and daughter Chelsea Altaha.

A wake will be held in her honor at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at her sister’s residence, 621 N. Cromwell Rd. in Cibecue. A funeral service will follow Saturday, June 15, at 1 p.m. in Cibecue. Interment will be at the Running Water Cemetery in upper Cibecue.
