William Brett Hall, 52, of Blackfoot died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

Brett was born March 23, 1959, in St. Johns to Harrison Pearce and Esther Val Brewer Hall. He was raised and received his education in Arizona. Following graduation from high school. Brett attended Arizona State University, earning a BA in education. Brett has lived in Show Low and Tempe, Arizona and Blackfoot, Idaho.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served a full-time mission to Oakland, Calif.

Brett was a school teacher and wrestling and track coach at Claire E. Gale Junior High School in Idaho Falls.

Brett was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved the times spent with his sons.

He is survived by three sons: Zachary (Danson Stark) Hall of Pocatello, Ian Hall and Ethan Hall, both of Blackfoot; and siblings: Harry Lynn Hall, Judy Wright, Christopher Hall and Michelle Rauch.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother Mike.

Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the Blackfoot First Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Tad Pearson conducting. The family will meet with friends and family for one hour prior to services at the church.  Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
