Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it! I learned that maxim of truth the hard way, but a lesson never to be forgotten.

Last year I recall ministers of various religious sects coming together in Prayer seeking rain or snow to lend help to the very dry conditions. The rain and snow came, in record-setting amounts And the grasses grew and grew and grew! Now everywhere you look you see a sea of waving grasses. Very dry grasses since the last few weather disturbances brought late winds to dry everything out. Under certain circumstances, the area could explode into range fire traveling at the speed of the wind (30-50 mph).

Maybe those mentioned ministers of faith should come back together to pray for protection from range fire.
