Lady Jackets 4-0 in regular season

Blue Ridge 9, Holbrook 0

Senior Brenna McGrew and sophomore S. condojani scored two goals apiece in the Yellow Jackets’ 9-0 win at Holbrook on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Blue Ridge also got goals from seniors Skyla Rigg and Mylee Brewer, juniors A. Brimhall and Madeline Jones, and sophomore Bethany Bahe. McGrew also notched an assist.

The Jackets improve to 9-2-1 and will travel to Snowflake on Tuesday, Oct. 1 to take on the Lady Lobos at 6 p.m.

Northland Prep 10, Snowflake 0

The Spartans took a 6-0 first-half lead on the way to a 10-0 win at Snowflake on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

NPA junior Ellie Karren led the victors with five goals and two assists. Mia Blair, also a junior, scored three goals and had three assists. Sophomore Sydney Sventek had a goal and four assists.

The Spartans had 34 shots on goal; Snowflake had six.

Sophomore Katlynn Cardon kept goal for a half and notched 19 saves.

NPA keeper Millie Gindorf had 11 saves in 60 scoreless minutes.

Snowflake 3, Holbrook 0

Lobo sophomore Kaylee Traver scored two goals to lead Snowflake to a 3-0 win at Holbrook on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Senior Dalilah Kreuger scored a goal and junior Paige Rogers got an assist as the Lobos had lots of opportunities with 33 shots on goal.

Taylee Craner kept goal for 40 minutes and got four saves. Katlynn Cardon kept goal the other half to help preserve the shutout.

Blue Ridge 3, Round Valley 1

EAGAR — Madeline Jones scored two goals and S. Condojani added another to lead Blue Ridge to a 3-1 win at Round Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Skyla Rigg and Lindsey Gagnon each had an assist. The Jackets had 10 shots on goal.

Northland Prep 8, St. Johns 0

Ellie Karren scored five goals and added one assist as the Spartans won at St. Johns, 8-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Mia Blair scored two goals and had two assists and Sydney Sventek had a goal and three assists.

The Redskins had seven shots on goal in the loss.

Snowflake 2, Page 1 (OT)

The Lobos got goals from sophomores Eliza Gurr and Kaelynn Hipps and Riley Toone, also a sophomore, had an assist as Snowflake defeated visiting Page, 2-1, with a goal in a second overtime.

Page took a 1-0 lead in the first half and the Lobos sent the game to overtime with a second half score.

Lobo keepers Taylee Craner and Katlynn Cardon combined for 17 saves.

Chino Valley 6, Show Low 0

The visiting Chino Valley Cougars scored three goals in each half in a shutout win at the Show Low Cougars on Friday, Sept. 13.

Madison Foster scored two goals and added an assist to lead Chino Valley.

Chino senior Kacey Matthews kept goal 80 minutes and notched the shutout.

Northland Prep 9, Round Valley 0

FLAGSTAFF — Northland Prep, the defending state champs in girls fall soccer, took a 6-0 lead in the first half on the way to a 9-0 win against visiting Round Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Spartan junior Mia Blair scored three goals; junior Ellie Karren and sophomore Sydney Sventek added two goals apiece. Sventek led NPA in assists with three; Blair had two and Karren had one.

Snowflake 1, Camp Verde 0

The Lobos went on the road on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and got nine shots on goal, and a goal by Sisely Russell was the only one in an otherwise scoreless game, as Snowflake won 1-0.

Goalies Taylee Craner and Katlynn Cardon each kept goal for a 40-minute half and they combined for 19 saves.

Blue Ridge 5, Payson 1

Blue Ridge junior Madeline Jones scored two goals as the Yellow Jackets defeated Payson 5-1 on Tuesday, Sept. 12. S. Condojani had one goal. Emily Fogle and Madison Urias, both sophomores, had one assist each.

Blue Ridge had 14 shots on goal; the Longhorns had seven.

Junior keeper Regan Boro had four saves in the win.

Round Valley 7, Page 0

Emma Young led the Elks with three goals and two assists and Alena Barreras added two goals as Round Valley defeated visiting Page, 7-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

M. Mariscal had a goal and an assist. Ashley Whiting and Ada Mortensen also scored goals for the Elks.

Jaden Finch kept goal for Round Valley and got five saves.

Northland Prep 8, Show Low 0

The Cougars were held scoreless on six shots on goal in the loss.

Chino Valley 9, Snowflake 1

The Cougars got three goals from freshman Kaitlyn Roskopf and two from sophomore Sabrina Lopez in a 9-1 win at Snowflake on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

Cougars Tayler Elsea and Kacey Matthews each had two assists and Madison Foster had a goal and an assist.

Chino Valley led 5-0 at the half.

Junior Taylee Craner and sophomore Katlynn Cardon split time tending goal and they combined for 19 saves.

Round Valley 2, Camp Verde 2

The Elks got goals from I. Salazar and Emma Young in a 2-2 tie at Camp Verde on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Freshman keeper Jaden Finch had 21 saves for Round Valley.

St. Johns 5, Snowflake 1

The Redskins took a 3-0 halftime lead on the way to a 5-1 win against visiting Snowflake on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Snowflake goalkeeper Katylynn Cardon notched 19 saves in 80 minutes tending the net.

Blue Ridge 6, Page 0

Blue Ridge took a 4-0, first-half lead in the season opener and went on to defeat visiting Page, 6-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

S. Condojani scored on four of eight shots on goal to lead the scoring for the Jackets. Brenna McGrew scored two goals on four shots. Lindsey Gagnon registered one assist.

Regan Boro kept goal for 80 minutes and registered a save on the Sand Devils’ only shot on goal.

Chino Valley 8, Round Valley 0

EAGAR — The Cougars took a 5-0 halftime lead on the way to an 8-0 win at Round Valley in the season opener on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Chino Valley got three goals from freshman London Wigen and two goals and an assist from sophomore Madison Foster.

Elks’ keeper Jaden Finch registered 13 saves.
