Marc it for two

Round Valley senior Marc Irigoyen runs through a gap in the Phoenix Christian defense, thanks to great blocking by his teammates, for a two-point conversion to tie last Friday’s 2A championship game at 28-28 during the fourth quarter of the contest at Scottsdale Coronado High School. Irigoyen scored the game-winning touchdown on a 28-yard run with 2:06 left as the Elks came away with a 34-28 win and their program’s first football title since 1980.
